The Purpose
The TCE in Singapore, co-headed by Dr Zhang, is a centre at the forefront of the development, labeling, and testing of theranostic probes both in vitro and in vivo, with the aim to create highly specific disease-targeting probes and assess their diagnostic and therapeutic effectiveness.

Facilities and Technology
The centre includes advanced laboratories such as a synthesis lab, radiochemistry lab, cell and tissue culture room, molecular imaging suite, and animal research unit. The molecular imaging suite features modern nuclear medicine imaging facilities like PET/MRI, PET/CT, and SPECT/CT, as well as advanced optical imaging systems such as IVIS and NIR-II fluorescence imaging, and photoacoustic/ultrasound imaging systems.

Additionally, we offer a wide range of specialized services to the scientific and industrial communities to help them achieve their research and development goals efficiently, and serves as an incubator for preclinical probes, supporting their clinical translation.
